Mumin said that giving everyone the opportunity to earn a decent living through skills acquisition and empowerment will drastically reduce global poverty and put nations on the right track.He stated further that training designed and executed by the organization globally will be free of charge without any hidden fees. Qualified and selected candidates (people in extreme poverty) who successfully graduate from these trainings will be supported with their startup fund, mentor, and other support they may require to sustain the new businesses.Mumin concluded his presentation with "the organization is implementing guerrilla intervention moves that enable people to shift their mindsets from a culture of depending on others and government for things they can actually attain more abundantly for themselves.'' He challenged everyone to be part of the change they want to see in this world by joining the platform to help provide trainings, partnerships and donations to reach more people in need.On his part, Kunle Egbedun (who is the Vice President of the organization) explained that poverty is a global disease and not only synonymous to Africa alone, hence the need to design and build a global platform to cater to everyone from any part of the world to access skills and escape poverty. "Our initiative is a disruptive social development tool that builds systems where multiple opportunities are created and people are adequately trained to utilize them to earn decent living and contribute meaningfully to the growth of their communities."Kunle reiterated that SkillDrive is open to partnering with great organizations that value human dignity and exceptional professionals who are passionate about helping others to make SkillDrive a vibrant platform where ideas, skills, knowledge and experiences can be shared and human capabilities are developed in the individual's specific areas of interests, utilizing innovative techniques and digital tools.On his part, Mohammed Gobir (the Chief Financial Officer of the organization) assured everyone present of accountability and transparency while also calling for more partnership, donations and volunteers.
